Your quilt and the old hexs given to you are beautiful. They so remind me of one my mom found which was done in the 50's - 60's. I still need to quilt it.

Oh those are beautiful.love them.
a quilter in Europe sent me some done in soft light green and soft gray. I still haven't done anything with them. i took some apart to make them look more like flowers but never restitched them together. the stitches were so very tiny i know mine wont' be as good.
