Love the quilt top! I'd SID, inside the circles and then do a little bit of echo quilting outside the circles (but not too close together), to help give the top a sense of movement....lucky baby!

Very Pretty.
I like to stitch on each side of the ditch, but very close to it. I like the outline look it gives.

"as desired" of course ;-) Pretty quilt. Sorry I'm no help.

I'd do large meandering loops or any of the other ideas already suggested.

For the quilting, I would stitch spiral circles in the circle (like a child's rainbow lollypop) and spiral squares in the squares. I would stitch wavy lines on the rick rack block about an inch apart. I would stitch straight horizontal lines about an inch apart on the other rectangles. The circles and square are still the focal points, but it gives interest to the solid background.

Your quilt is simply adorable and it makes for a wonderful baby quilt. I love the design and the colors and fabric choices. Great job!

That is beautiful. My g-daughter is having a baby in Sept. She ask me to help her do the baby room in pink and black if she has a girl. We find out next week. She would love this.
