What an absolutely adorable quilt! I'd echo the shapes.

Beautiful. I would keep the quilting simple.

LOVE the quilt, and I agree with this idea:

For the quilting, I would stitch spiral circles in the circle (like a child's rainbow lollypop) and spiral squares in the squares. I would stitch wavy lines on the rick rack block about an inch apart. I would stitch straight horizontal lines about an inch apart on the other rectangles. The circles and square are still the focal points, but it gives interest to the solid background.

very cute quilt and nice choice of colors!

I love the layout and fabrics you chose, it's simply adorable.

Thougts for the quilting... I would quilt it a mediium density (a happy medium between soft and durable), I would then search high and low for a gray/pink/white varigated thread and minky backing, then quilt it in an all-over design with large concentric rectangles and cirlcles overlapping each other. If I couldn't find the varigated thread, I would consider using solid threads of all three colors.

Please do share with us what you end up doing.

The quilt is SEW cute. I like the idea of circles all over. Let us see the after pictures please. Thanks for sharing.

I read the pink and zebra before I acutally saw the quilt and was excited. Seeing the quilt cofirms my excitment! What a happy and cute quilt. If I were going to quilt this cutie, I would do circles in circles in circles all over in a random pattern, even inter- crossing some of them so they look like bubbles.
Love what you have done.
peace

Pretty! I'm not a big fan of a lot of quilting. I would stitch in a ditch around everything and smaller and smaller circles inside the circles.

That's what I'd suggest, too. This quilt is just too, too cute! Post again after you quilt it, OK?

Love the quilt. Start with stitch in the ditch first and see what it does for the quilt. I personally am not for heavy quilting. I feel it takes away from the design. One step at a time.

I won't be any help but just wanted to say that is one super cute quilt.
