GREAT IDEAS!! I'm old enough to remember when quilting was not an "expensive hobby" but was done to provide warmth to the family and connection with community members (AKA "quilting bees"). Those quilters didn't have expensive equipment either, yet made lovely heirlooms, many of which today are collector's items. So thank you for sharing your creative genius with us! Inspires me to use what I have and not make rich people richer. THANK YOU for sharing your ideas with us.

Awesome! I also have a home done table, put boards on filing cabinets. The filing cabinets work well for storing alot of stuff.

You have a great set up! I especially like that you receycled things! I am sure that you will/have made some great items.

What a great idea. The tiles really work well, who'd thought? I agree that although I want a nice workspace, I am more interested in function and love to save money. You table looks fab! I am working on an old office space in my barn and may try using tiles on an old kitchen table I was planning to refinish to smooth it out. Thanks for sharing and I am so glad the guys are getting into quilting! You have a lot to contribute to the quilting community, very resourceful!
