Loving it! I need to make something that will let me work in our new motor home. I was thinking of a laminate countertop set over matching file cabinets or shelving units. This looks like it might work!

What a great idea! We are replacing doors in the house now, guess a couple of the old ones will have a repurpose instead of the garbage. We've got 6 doors though don't think I need that many tables, LOL.

All of my tables come from either used office supply stores or repurposed tables. So much better than letting them go into a land fill. Several people mentioned that they cut out a hole for their machines and built a shelf underneath. Would someone describe the shelf? How is it attached to the underside?

I think you used ingenuity in setting up your sewing station.

great idea!
my aunt had two doors, at the end of the one with her sewing machine she has another going to the left for her quilts to be on as sewing like L shaped

You did an awesome job!!! Wish you lived closer! My Dad always taught me to make good use of what you have...I had my fabric strips hanging from a lamp, I see you're using a pipe! When my lamp tipped over I knew I had to many...they were never close to the bulb..and handy to see what I have.

Solutions are right in front of us.

Please discribe how you inserted the shelf below the table cut out to hold the machine.

A great idea for DIYers.

peace

Very unique and great solution...in this day we need to be resourceful! Love the tile idea!!

Very creative. Good repurposing idea! The tiles are a nice touch too. They look like a quilt pattern. Nice machine cover.
