I conquered the beast :)
1 Attachment(s)
I have always wanted to make a double wedding ring quilt - but I was afraid. My nephew is getting married this summer so I decided to dig in and make one.
Wow! it was a lot of work. They have a king size bed so this thing is monster size (at least for me) 113" x 102" This is just the quilt top. Tomorrow I am taking it to the long armer. I am so excited I have never sent a quilt out to be long armed before Thanks for looking |

WOW that came out great
|
You did a beautiful job; especially with the corner blocks matching. I made one years ago that was twin size and I hand quilted it. I now use it for a table cloth in my dining room. I can no longer hand quilt because of arthritis but I found it very relaxing.
|
Beautiful job!!! Thanks for showing it.
|
:thumbup:Gorgeous!

Thank you everyone :) I used the templates from Shar Jorgenson. She has videos on YouTube that I watched over and over again.
The colors were not my choice, they registered at the bridal registry with yellow and gray for the bedroom colors I do want to make another one.. only the next one will be for me |
