What a great idea!! You are very clever!!
I just got home from Hobby Lobby. They had several bags in stock at $2.99 for 260. I got the the checkout counter, and the lady said, "I think these are on sale this week." And they were...50% off!
Counted them when I got home and there were exactly 26 of each number. The brand at Hobby Lobby is Bead Design Co. |
So clever! thanks for sharing!
Love it :!:
Oh now I want some too! Now I'll have to make a special trip to Joannes. Thanks for sharing.
I cut old calenders. Use the numbers with pin. When I start the first row I sew a diagonal line across the top outside. when I am done I pull those threads out.save money for fabric. seems like everybody has oodles of calenders.

Very clever!

I love them. What a great find
I may have to copy that idea!

MamaBear ... if you find them here in the great white north, please let me know ... if a huge quantity, I'll split them with you, or will buy my own. thanks! I did a little online searching this afternoon, but have not come up with them anywhere yet. I was wondering about Michael's but they weren't showing up on their website. I will keep you posted and send you a note if I find a source. Looks like there would be lots for us to share. |
THAT'S AMAZING!!!
Man! What a great idea!!!
You are awesome. I love these a lot more than the quilting ones. I think manufactureres should start thinking of us as the cute quilters and that we need cute stuff not just expensive stuff. Thanks for the idea.
That's a great idea! I'll have to hurry to my joanne's before others beat me to it.

Also, are there Lewiscraft stores still? Maybe good old Zellers? Dollar Store? ToysRus? Lens? And I'll keep you in mind too, if I find any! |
Sad news:-( I just went to my local JoAnn's and they said they'd never seen them. I was very disappointed because I was going to buy some for me and some for several friends. I guess I'm going online to hunt for them.
Great idea -- now if we can only find them.
Now that is being resourceful! Great idea! Thanks for sharing.

I found them online! Quilting-warehouse.com has them for $2.49 a package.
