Makes me wonder - - where was I when all this creativity was being passed out?? What a clever idea!! Don't have kids or grandkids so don't ever visit kids craft areas. Must try to do that sometime.

I am JEALOUS!! I bought the Joanne ones and was wondering how to use them for a bargello! Now I just need to use your idea!
Very cute and great idea!!
This is a great idea. I will be getting some of those numbers. Thanks for sharing.

How clever you are.
Ingenious!!!
grest idea i usually just tape a number on the first block of each row , but these would stay on a lot better
Great idea! I love to find things for the sewing/quilting studio that weren't originally intended for that purpose.
What an awesomely cool idea...sooo much better than my ripped post-it paper and straight pins that I ALWAYS stick myself with!!
And to think I made my bargello with little post it notes that came off every time I touched the strips. Great idea.
Great idea. Thanks for sharing.
How great is that idea? I have a tendancy to get my rows or strips confused and then have to go back at rearrange things. I'm going to have to keep my eyes open for something along those lines and borrow your idea. Thanks for sharing.
Smart idea!

I love this idea
Good idea.
Thanks for sharing that great tip! It's the best one I've heard in awhile. I use the posties.
Fons & Porter sell their own row markers...maybe they won't publish this tip! LOL |
So simple - but wow what a neat concept. Am going to give it a whirl.

Cool!
yes, a great idea
Hobby Lobby also carries these for $2.99 for those of you that don't have a JoAnn's. I checked Michael's but didn't find them.

I still like green or blue painters tape..... too "gimmick-y" for me! JMHO! :-D
I really like these. I went to our Joanns and they don't carry them. Too Bad!
I went to walmart to see if I could find some of the numbers to use and couldn't. I did however find letters and number mixed, so I bought a bag came home and seperated them into some little plastic boxes I used to keep my beads in. Now when I need to mark a row i'm going to use them. Funny part I will have to skip over G, there were no letter G's. Weird. LOL
Thanks for the suggestion. |
Fabulous idea  Thanks for sharing...
Very smart tip! ou should add this to the tutes for others to see!
Looked in JoAnn's today and couldn't find any, but went to Hobby Lobby and found them and they were 1/2 price on sale!!! So I bought several bags so that I can share this with some other quilter friends!!! LOVE this idea...I've been using scraps of post-it stickies with straight pins...ouch!!
(PS - found them in the beads section for making jewelry) |
Love them
I finally found some at Michael's. They are not the same brand and they are a mixed box of both numbers and letters. They were $4.99.
