I was looking for a better way to mark my rows. Joann's had alphabet blocks with safety pins but I wanted numbers. I searched in the kiddo crafts department and came up with these. Much cuter and larger than the ones made for quilters.
I could make 100 rows! Aren't they cute! |

This is such a cute idea and there are enough to use for knitting as well. ETA: I was at Joann's last night picking up a few quilt notions. I will be going back as soon as my kidlet wakes up from his nap! |
What a great idea!!! Thank you for sharing.

That smack you heard was my hand hitting my forehead
Great idea! |
It's amazing what quilters can figure out!

They are adorable. I may try this for the bargello I am working on.

These are a great idea ... I'd want both letters and numbers so I could label columns and rows separately!
MamaBear ... if you find them here in the great white north, please let me know ... if a huge quantity, I'll split them with you, or will buy my own. thanks! |
What a great idea and seeew cute! I just checked online and it looks like Hobby Lobby carries them, too. And just $2.99 for 260 pieces. Guess where I'm going this evening!! LOL
|
Very good idea! I want some! Today I was numbering rows with pins and it got a little hairy after 5...:)
|
Great, I have looked at several places trying to find the numbers. Never thought of the kids crafts. Will have to pick up a bag next time I am at Jo Anns (which won't be long, ha ha)

Great idea. I just use little pieces of paper with numbers on them and pin them to the first block. Your way is much cuter.
