I received so much help and encouragement from everyone during my Teahouse Dragon project, and it was all so very appreciated! Some have commented that they liked viewing along the development of the quilt and were interested in my next project. The fabric was previewed on 1st thread.
O6/19/10. This is the start of my 2nd art quilt. I hope to have learned not to do some of the Fudges I did in the last one. Any and all comments are happily accepted. Ray.. First the design board. Looking forward to this one. I have a special love for the Asian fabrics.
wow I love the fabric choices, looking forward to seeing your progress on this one!
Looks like you have limited workspace, and yet, your work is wonderful.
Thats pretty cool
wow, that is awesome, please post pictures as you make it so we can follow along, thanks
Ray, I loved your "Teahouse Dragon", but I think this one might just put a little "shade" over your first. The fabric with the pagoda has a beautiful depth to begin with...the next frame with your thread painting added gives it even more dimension. You certainly have got off to a brilliant start, great fabric selection, love your work area and your vintage machine...I really appreciate being able to see the process from beginning to end, so thanks for posting. Can't wait for the next instalment....let the magic continue....

lol. What's next? Really like the way you're quilting it, I too am interested in seeing how you put them together. Like your supporting colors. You've picked them right out of your feature prints, gonna look really good, the orange chrysanthamums really caught my attention.
OMG you are talented i am not that brave, it is beautiful
Very cool!
that's awesome! I love seeing how you quilted your name in there. I always quilt the receiver's name in mine.
