Labyrinth....another church raffle quilt
 

I make one annually and this one is a bit smaller, 90x90. Queen size on pattern stated 90x110, but I added more to the sides to make it square and eliminated the 3rd (outside) border. I had no problem with placement of all the HST.

Thanks for the compliments. The raffle brought in $3000. The gal that won it was searching the internet the day prior looking for a bed cover for her new queen bed. Last year a 14 yo gal won the beige, brown and orange Linicoln Logs quilt....her bedroom is green and orange. Good timing, huh?

That is beautiful! I have the pattern and I want to make my mom and dad a queen size. I have heard it is easy. But when I opened the directions I was like whoa! It looks intimadating to me lol. Now im afraid to start it lol. Please tell me that it isnt so bad ????? Lol

Wendys Quilts: It ISN'T a difficult pattern at all and it goes together in a timely manner. It's mostly 5 1/2 inch squares. If you follow the direction of MARKING your HST combinations, it goes together easily. Note that the queen 90x110 pattern does not have that light (background) frame on the sides; and to me, it made the design look incomplete, so I purchased an extra 1 1/2 yds of the Background fabric and added the two-5 1/2" strips (with the HST points of the diamond) to each side, making it square and then eliminated the 10" outer border, making the quilt 90x90. I recommend you go ahead. You will see how simple it is.

This is my all time favorite pattern and you did a beautiful job.
