Your quilt is gorgeous, everything from color choices to the FMQ, you did a super job. And loved how you added the strip to the back.

A huge THANK YOU to all who commented so nicely. It's always a pleasure to know your work is pleasing to sooo many lovely ladies :).
The thing with the strip started as a need to make a piece of a narrow fabric wider, but now it's becoming a kinda quirk. Every quilt I make has the pieced strip in the backing. I guess, that's just plain ole quirky me ;-).

Have a wonderful weekend and happy sewing,
Anne

I also use the extra color / strip on the back. To me it adds interest, breaks up the monotony. So, if you're quirky, so I am!! And there's not a thing wrong with that!! Merry Christmas!

Hey Joey, no reason to be scared AT ALL, believe me :). Just give it a try. There are some small things to consider, though. Guess how I know

1. Don't overthink it
2. Go for simple, e.g. start with a stippling, which is very forgiving
3. Don't overthink it
4. Start trying on a testing sandwich of app. 12x12", NOT on your quilt
5. If this turned out well and you could stop overthinking,
GO!
