Just wanted you to show with what I came up now. In October I showed you my test block: http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-69933-1.htm
After looking at it for a few days, I disliked the color combo more and more. Unfortunately, this required a trip to my LQS, but sometimes you just have to make some sacrifices, don't you  . This was my second attempt at FMQ with my domestic sewing machine, so please don't look too closely. Still need a name for it. Any ideas would be appreciated. I thought something like Box Of Jewels, but not sure about it yet. Thank you for looking, Anne |
I think it's very pretty!

THATS BEAUTIFUL, GREAT JOB ON THE QUILTING PART, WHAT COLOR THREAD DID YOU USE
|
Wow what a difference the color change made. Excellent choice.
|
First of all, I want to thank you for your kind and encouraging comments, I appreciate them very much!
The thread I used is "Crushed Grapes", a King Tut thread, which the owner of my LQS disliked a lot and had to tell me straight away, when I showed her the finished quilt. YIKES! First I was shocked and had to sleep over it to digest it, the next day I was fine with my choice again. Taste is nothing to fight about, is it? |
That is beautiful!! And your FMQ is great!
|
Both the quilt and the quilting are beautiful!
