Now that many of you have helped me understand Lil Twister, here is my work in progress. This is fabric that was donated to me so I try to do the best that I can to match colors etc. Once I learned how to do this pattern the hardest part was cutting around the little template. I don't have a lot of room to work and so I felt like I was all thumbs.

Very pretty- I love your colors and the pattern. Thank you for sharing.

Nice! I have the lil twister. Haven't used it yet.

I love your colors. Cute wall hanging. Once you get use to the tool it's really fun and quick for a gift.

My only problem is how in the world do you know how to put it back together?!!!! LOL

Beautiful!

Lovely.

Yeah! You did it. I have yet to try it.

If you really fall in love with Lil Twister, I recommend you purchase the rotary cutter mat that rotates (sort of like a lazy susan). The old stile wobbled but this newer style is great!
I used one of my 1/2 off coupons at Joann's and it was still a bit pricy. They come in two sizes and I bought the smaller one. Now I'm thinking about the larger one but even at 1/2 price its almost $40! I do like the smaller one though. It really makes it easy to manipulate around the block without moving the block. You can get a similary effect by placing a smaller mat on a larger one and rotating the smaller mat but it's not nearly as nice (or fun) as this new to me notion! Peggy |
