Now that many of you have helped me understand Lil Twister, here is my work in progress. This is fabric that was donated to me so I try to do the best that I can to match colors etc. Once I learned how to do this pattern the hardest part was cutting around the little template. I don't have a lot of room to work and so I felt like I was all thumbs.

I love your colors. Cute wall hanging. Once you get use to the tool it's really fun and quick for a gift.

My only problem is how in the world do you know how to put it back together?!!!! LOL

If you really fall in love with Lil Twister, I recommend you purchase the rotary cutter mat that rotates (sort of like a lazy susan). The old stile wobbled but this newer style is great!

I used one of my 1/2 off coupons at Joann's and it was still a bit pricy. They come in two sizes and I bought the smaller one. Now I'm thinking about the larger one but even at 1/2 price its almost $40!

I do like the smaller one though. It really makes it easy to manipulate around the block without moving the block. You can get a similary effect by placing a smaller mat on a larger one and rotating the smaller mat but it's not nearly as nice (or fun) as this new to me notion!

Several folks on this board helped me do that. Sadly the instructions with the template needed to be a little more exact.
