Love variation for Mom
 

Hello all! I am fairly new to quilting and certainly new to this board. I thought I’d share this quilt I mad for my mom last year. You may have seen one similar called “Love”. I created a sound wave of my voice saying “Mom” and created a pattern from it. Welcome any feedback and thoughts.

I have a ceramic cup that my daughter gave me in 1986 that has a mouse on front who is screaming out "MOM" (I just wanted to tell you that I love you). I cherish that mug to this very day & your quilt for your mom will be so special to her. I look forward to seeing you on this board & showing us the things you come up with.

Your quilt and quilting turned out beautifully.

What a wonderful quilt for your mom. The only thing I hope you do is make a new label with more info so that future family members know who made it, for whom, when, etc. I own an old appliqué quilt (not my family) and all that is known about it is the date - 1868 - that is quilted into it. How I would love to know who made it, where it’s from, etc.
