I love your hexies grouped in threes. You have a lot of patience.

Kudos to her

Beautiful job and gorgeous colors! I am enjoying making a grandmother's flower garden quilt with hexagons using 1930's reproduction fabric - it sure give you a sense of satisfaction and is great therapy!

It takes a lot of patience to sew all those hexies together. She's doing a great job, nice bright quilt.

therapy for me, no. I need a massage every night after doing this. I love the satisfaction of seeing it grow, little by little. A great sense of accomplishment. It will take about a year to complete. but i'll be 56 next year anyway, i can be 56 with or without the hex quilt. i choose to have the hex quilt!!!
Thank you all for your kind words. |
Amazing!!! I admire your work on such tiny pieces....quite admirable.....keep us posted:)

Beautiful colors. You have much more patience and talent than I have.

What a neat idea for grouping the hexies in threes. Very unusual so your quilt will be very special!

thanks for saying i'm talented, but it's just hexies. All of you here are so talented and imaginative. I come here few times a day to visit the different rooms to see what's new, and i'm always amazed at everyone's talent. Such beautiful quilts, and quilted items and gifts and totes . Color expolsions on every page, and always a new technique or a twist on an older one. A quick way of doing things, or an new easier way. Tuts on new fangled rulers, or old tried and true techniques. everyone here adds their special talent to this board, and i'm so glad we're all here to share.
