How about one of these?:

Savannah requires 5 colors and is about 1/2 way down the page

These are all free!

Rainbow trip around the world.

bearisgray 07-08-2011 10:58 AM

Is one of them quite a bit heavier than the others? (A red??)

sandy12010 07-08-2011 10:58 AM

I like the savannah but would it look right with all the same pattern fabric

AmyG 07-08-2011 11:12 AM

Sure...the patterns are very similar in the example...the color change it what makes the design move.

The Magic Tile quilt is beautiful, too.

lovestosew 07-08-2011 11:20 AM

How about this?

A nine patch with white snowballs would be really pretty.

Patched 07-08-2011 01:11 PM

My vote is for Magic Tiles.

krafty14 07-08-2011 01:14 PM

Ohhhhh. I love rainbow fabrics. How about a Bargello?

donac 07-08-2011 01:19 PM

I did a rail fence with thin rails with rainbow colors. It came out very pretty. I lined the back with Wizard of Oz fabrics.

watterstide 07-08-2011 01:32 PM

i love 9 patch quilts..

if you had enough fabric, you could even make a scrappy irish chain quilt!

and here is one "Iluv2quilt" made!

sandy12010 07-08-2011 03:24 PM

Just-Lee 07-08-2011 03:29 PM

I have seen an awesome attic window done with these colors (and more) with black sashing and border- It was the coolest thing I have seen. I think the colors scaled from pale to just a bit darker than your colors.

MISHNJIM 07-08-2011 03:34 PM

I like the Magic Tiles also....here's a link to make something really similar to it:

Not sure, but I think you would have to multiple the amounts given by the number of blocks you would need. BTW, good choice, with white background? Maybe black?

tealfalcon 07-09-2011 04:56 AM

how about a color wheel quilt with black background
