I just happen to live in a quilting community. That's why I am able to find so much stuff at the thrift shop.

Wow, Carrie, what a great shopping trip! I can't wait to move to New Concord and maybe we could shop together or not!! The early quilter gets the scraps, right?

Ooooh! When are you moving? I would love to meet you but I'm not telling you where Angel's Attic is. Maybe I shouldn't have told you the name. LOL.

Thank you for the info, Candace. I hadn't heard of the burn test, either.

I went to goodwill today (a place I generally don't go) and found 15.26yds of fabric for $9.00. I got 6 different prints. I thought it was WM but when I got it home I realized I was wrong. Some of it is 40in wide and so soft.

I want to know where these thrift stores are at! I have plenty of thrift stores around me, and yes I venture there every week and have only found maybe a grand total of 4 yds of fabric over the years. You sure are lucky! And what a great find!
Kind Regards,
MaryAnna

maybe a candidate for the ugly scrap challenge, if I hadn't entered already.

I'm going to have to check out my local thrift stores more often. I don't ever remember seeing fabric at them.
