microwave bowls
 

In September, I'm going to visit my sister in southern Wisconsin, and our brother will be coming from Oregon with his girlfriend. We haven't seen him in 6 years, and we've never met his girlfriend. I wanted to take some small gifts for everybody, so decided to make them all microwave bowls. I also made a dish drying mat for my sister and am in the process of making a fold-up shopping tote for the girlfriend. My brother's birthday will happen while they are here, so I will be making a mug rug and a coffee sleeve for him next. Here are the bowls. My brother loves baseball and his girlfriend likes cats, so those were easy fabric choices. I found the typewriter keys fabric in my stash and knew it would be perfect for my sister who, like me, loves vintage things.
