Such a beautiful quilt! I hope you get it back so you can finish it up. May I ask what the pattern is? I love the look of it and would like to add it to my list of quilts to do. Best of luck!

Mexican Star or Stars (I forget)

Thank you.
Please let us know when (not IF, but WHEN) you get your quilt back. I'm thinking positively here!

What a shame!

That is so sad... first, that someone would have so little respect for the owner, and second that he/she would have so little personal integrity that would lead to stealing it... doubly sad. I'm sorry for your loss and hope you find it eventually.

Just to even THINK that someone would stoop so low!! Hopefully it was picked up accidentally, but by this time I would think that they would have tried to notify the place where it was picked up. If they were on a hop, they could have back tracked, etc. If they took it on purpose, it is probably qulted and hanging in some "place of honor." I pray that you are lead to it.

The lovely pattern is "Mexican Stars".

I check in everyday to see if the quilt has been found. I am praying for it's safe return.

Sorry to hear about your quilt. I had one stolen from a storage facility about 2 years ago and am still devastated. I sincerely hope you are reunited with your beautiful top.

How awful....hope you find it or someone feels quilty enough to send it back.....

Sewnique 11-07-2010 07:58 PM

Does your quilt shop have security cameras? Maybe they/you could view it find exactly who did the crime.

It disappeared from the Dutch Rose Quilt Shop in Sioux Falls, SD approximately March of 2008. This is a top only - not quilted and is about 36 inches square. It is made of batiks. I had it in the store to try and find a back for it and laid it on a table.

If anyone sees this, please send me a private message.

This was one of my favorites, I can't replicate it and I'd love to have it back.

Thank you,
Roberta

What a low opportunistic thing to do.

bob1414 11-08-2010 07:08 AM

Hi All,

No security cameras in the shop, no word on it, no quilt. I'm not hopeful.......

Thanks for all the kind words!!!
