I like the dark one better.

I like the light one.

I think the colors POP on the black fabric.

I like the light fabric to see the boots. BUT the darker fabric would be a lot of fun with color - for instance, pick a red or turquoise and see the that color jump out.

I like the light one - shows off the boots better. Let us know what you decide.

I like the light better, but the dark would also have its place.

I'm with Prism99. I think it all depends on who it's for. She's right. The light looks like it would be used for a younger person and the black is much more sophisticated.

I ordered the light. Once I see it in person, and can see just what the colors are, I'll be better able to decide whether I think there's enough contrast in the darker one. The rep brought the "book" around so all I had to work with was pictures on paper. The actual design, printed on cloth, may give a different effect.

The group is called "Home on a Range" and it's a future group from Elizabeth's Studio. I'm not sure of the ETA yet. We all LOVE their fabrics, though, because their designs are printed so crisply, with lots of fine detail.

If you'd like to see the entire group I posted pictures on our Facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/favorite.fabrics. (We didn't order *all* of them, but you might want to look all the same!)

I'm wondering about the name of the group though. Wondering why they called it "Home on a Range", not "Home on the Range".
