I like the light color

At first glance I like the dark best. But I agree that much depends on how you will be using the fabric and for whom/who?

I like them both, but the detail shows up better on the light.

I like the black best.The boots look like they are falling out of the sky. I wonder why they didn't put them on blue too.

Both! Depends on the project you'd be doing!

Light--although I could see possibilities in the dark version.

I like the lighter background better as you can see the boots better.

I like both of them. I think it depends on the other colors in the quilt, which one to use. In some cases I might use both in the same quilt.
