If you want it larger, add the 2nd red border. I think I would just bind it in red without the 2nd border.

I would go with the one red border and bind with a green in one or two shades darker.

I'm voting with the majority and going for only one red border. I think it would look okay with a binding in red, but another border is overkill as someone has already said.

Decision would depend on how much quilting you want to do, on the designs you plan to quilt into each of the borders, and on how big you want the final product to be.

Personally, I'd add that second red border, and then bind it with a deep brown (I think that's the color showing on my computer) the same as the panel's original edging.

The first picture is "soft on the eyes" and easy to look at, but the second picture, with the wide red border really pops.
I would add the wide red. My vote is for picture#2. Have fun creating this quilting project.
