Nice job all around. I see you did the same thing we did with our Murphy bed...but it close to the wall...have you been challenged when you have to put the sheets on? Ours is a queen size and didn't have any choice...we were just happy to get it done and in...sure makes great space for play time!
We use a fitted sheet and just fold the top sheet/quilt from the sides and foot onto the mattress pull the two mattress retainer (elastic) over the two ends and lift all into the wall unit. Pillows are stowed in a locker due to the max 12" depth for mattress and covers. Rodney |
Rodney, you did a fabulous job on both Murphy bed AND quilt!!! What a lucky lucky GD!! Can you tell me where you obtained the pattern for the bed? What is the mechanism you used please?

How cute. Good work!!! made me remember the Murphy bed we had in our two room apartment. it swung around and into the closet.

Very nice job! I have been after my husband for some time to make me a similar Murphy bed! I will make the quilt for it, though. The parts just for the up/down mechanism are pretty expensive, plus it looks like you used a nice wood for the frame - what kind?

awesome job on all.

What a cool bed with an even cooler quilt. Lucky granddaughter.

Wow! That is a beautiful bed and a beautiful quilt. I can't imagine doing all of that, much less all at the same time. You are good at all of that work.
