What a nice set up for a grandchild! You did some great work on both. I would love to have one of those Murphy beds.

Great job. We are in process of building a Murphy bed as we speak and I am in process of making a quilt for the bed. Our guest room will become more of my sewing room. We only have overnight guests maybe a dozen nights a year, but I quilt probably 300 days a year. This will provide me with a lot more room. The Murphy bed has been a bit more time consuming that we anticapted, but it will be worth it.

Both the Murphy bed and quilt are GORGEOUS !!! You chose such beautiful wood for the bed cabinet....LOVE IT !! And the quilt is just too precious. I'm VERY sure she is over the moon with both. And you are a wonderful grandpa !!!

Your Murphy bed and quilt both look wonderful! When i saw one my friend had installed I was in love with the idea. And had one installed in my sewing room - we have another bedroom, but 2 daughters or multiple guests at any given time. And so it made more sense to me than setting up an aero bed. Let's face it, a sewing room and air beds don't go real well together. We do use the aero bed if we need it for more guests, or take it when we travel.

They are great!

WOW!!!!!!! I am knocked out by your projects. Come on Rodney, admit it you must be so proud of yourself and I think it is nice to have a project to turn to when one is tired of working on another. You have great skills and I am
so thankful you shared your projects. Where does one find plans for such a cabinet? Did you have a pattern for the quilt? I have a skill saw 10", and sander, drill, etc, none of which I have used for years. Everyone is downsizing now a days, so all and all the best projects I've yet seen. Thank you.
