I've been inspired by the bargellos posted recently on here (barnbum's gave me the final push! ;) ) to get this out of a drawer. It's a Lockwood Designs pattern called 'Disco'. I love it, I love the fabrics I chose, I love the pattern, I'm just HATING piecing it! Aaaargh! All those itty bitty pieces and all the unsewing - bo-oring! BUT I really want it done so can you all please nag me until I have? Thanks!

The picture of how it will look! 59" x 63"

Your doing a fantastic job! That looks beautiful! Hang in there your doing great!

wanderingcreek 01-26-2011 08:49 AM

Just keep plugging away at it. It is going to be gorgoeus when it is done. Bargellos do seem to take more time but they are so worth the extra trouble in the end. Just relax and don't stress.

kathy 01-26-2011 08:49 AM

come on girl, you can do it!!!!!!!!!!!!

bj 01-26-2011 08:50 AM

That's going to be beautiful! I don't think nagging will be required. Sleeping might be the issue...all you'll want to do is sew until it is done! (O:

k3n 01-26-2011 08:51 AM

Awww thanks, I knew I could rely on you all!

alaskasunshine 01-26-2011 08:52 AM

Peggyinno 01-26-2011 08:52 AM

That is gonna be a beauty WHEN you get it done  Just keep plugging away at it and before you know it...Tah Dah...you have a great looking quilt! BTW.. I've never made a bargello

mommamac 01-26-2011 09:36 AM

You go, girl. I would have stopped before I even started! It will be worth every unsewed seam - think of the 'bragging rights' you'll score when complete. Keep us posted & we'll keep you going.

MDMPanther 01-26-2011 09:39 AM

It's coming together beautifully...looking forward to seeing more!!! Keep going!! :)

Well I've done 4 whole rows! Which moved me along a whole 2"!  In three more rows, I'll be at the centre then it's downhill all the way to the finish, right?! :D :D

Thanks so much for the encouragement. ;-)

pab58 01-26-2011 11:03 AM

bjnicholson 01-26-2011 11:06 AM

Love your colors so just keep going. Nag, nag, nag...!

weezie 01-26-2011 11:45 AM

Are you seeking polite nagging or something more like: "GET BUSY, WOMAN!"?? Although wavy bargello makes me queasy when I look at it, I much admire the talent and labor that goes into both fabric selection and quilt top construction.

yetta 01-26-2011 11:47 AM

amazing....

sandyo 01-26-2011 11:49 AM

Definitely the latter!!!

Ducky 01-26-2011 12:20 PM

Beautiful, K. Those are all batiks, aren't they? I can't wait to see it when it's finished.

I saw a rooster pattern a couple of days ago and thought of you (very lovingly).

SuziC 01-26-2011 12:25 PM

That is Incredible!!!!

quiltstodo 01-26-2011 12:51 PM

I don't think you need a push. I want to know how you can manage so many quilts at one time. I'm also watching the one you're doing with the large floral OBW. Good lord you're quick and your work is beautiful

MamaBear61 01-26-2011 12:54 PM

Don't stop now, that is going to beautiful.

Alondra 01-26-2011 12:55 PM

Ohmygosh, it's so gorgeous! Nag... nag... nag... get it finished and post it when you do! :)

MCarleneM 01-26-2011 01:33 PM

I love it already....I'm going to use you as MY inspiration to do one.....I have the itch, just can bring myself to start scratching it. Keep us posted on your progress.

DogHouseMom 01-26-2011 01:34 PM

kat112000 01-26-2011 01:37 PM

Looks like a perfect size for a table runner!! LOL!

LoisN 01-26-2011 01:43 PM

Love it.

sash 01-26-2011 04:55 PM

That is really beautiful; keep on plugging, it will be so worth it. I made one (not this pattern, but would sure love too), and i just love it. Thought it was something I would never do, but found it to be very easy. Post when finished; can't wait to see it. Looking Good.

Yes they are - and to think I didn't used to like them! BTW my rooster is still sitting here, I can't decide whether to put another border on him or not. :-D

Thanks, I just prefer to work on several things at a time, the OBW is to one side, I've pieced the rows but not joined them yet. While I'm working on the bargello, I'm thinking up embellishment ideas for the OBW! :D

Everyone else, thank you - I'll keep on keeping on. I can stay home and sew today so I'll post progress later and see if you notice a difference! LOL
