Love this rug. Looks like it'd last a LONG time - Think I'll make some for our house here and some to go in the house when we get to Haiti!

Beautiful. I need to try that someday. Thanks for the instructions.

So you sew 5 layers together? And cut thru 3? I'm lost. Sorry. |
Looks great, I have only done small blocks, I should try a rug it would be soft on the feet.

Looks great, Wal Mart,K-Mart and Target and I'm sure lots of other stores sell the rubber waffle looking stuff that go under rugs to keep them from slipping.

CajunQuilter2,
I love your rug and want to try one myself. I understand your directions and they seem easy enough for this old tired brain to manage. But I do have a question that I don't think was addressed. Do you have to stitch and cut in any specific direction? I wasn't sure if it needed to be with the grain, diagonal to it, or what, to make the chenille part look right. Thanks. |
Great rug. I've seen the technique but never tried it. Now that I've seen yours, I think I will. Thanks for the inspiration.

Wow, I love that rug! I bet its so soft!
