My Daughters Quilt, My First Quilt
 

:o This is my first quilt and I am self taught. I just bought the pattern from Studio Block and followed the directions. I hope my daughter appreciates the love and hard work that went into making her this quilt for Christmas. I had it quillted by Donna Gudat. Why wait to get a longarm, there are so many tutorials around that show you how you can quilt, even large quilts, on your own domestic sewing machine. Give it a try, it is a lot of fun and so satifying that you did it all yourself.

Congratulations on your first quilt. She will cherish it always. When I first start learning I brought "The Lord is my Sheperd panel, I thought the pattern came with it. I have had it for quite sometime; have not idea of how to make the blocks that go with. Don't remember where I purchased it from.
