I thought I would share my first bargello with you. It was a quilt as you go also. I was scared to start it but amazed at how easy it was to do.

Oh my goodness!!!!!!! That is beautiful! A quilt as you go bargello sound really interesting. How did you learn to do that?

Oh, by the way...if it is homeless, my favorite color is blue, LOL!

LOL! I belong to a Wednesday sewing group and one of the ladies there had one she had done in red. So she gave me her directions, but when I got home the first page was missing so I just kinda winged it and it still turned out okay.

That is stunning the black background makes the blues pop :mrgreen:

Thanks, I really liked using the black Fairy Frost for the background because it did seem to add more depth to the overall appearance.

Don't you just love that pattern, it was easy except the 3/4" strips. Organization is the key.

I wanted to try but just couldn't imagine I could do it, so, I instead of anything big I tried placemats. Came out very cute and I've used them since the day I finished them. Now to get the courage for something bigger, maybe like this!
