My first quilt quilted on my new long arm machine
3 Attachment(s)
It was delivered just three weeks ago and giving I had never used a long arm machine I am pleased with the outcome. I used the half circle rulers to create Baptist Fans.

Wonderful job! Love the colors of the quilt.

You did a great job on these Baptist fans. The quilt is beautiful. I love the colors.

You're off & running now. Looks like you've got the hang of it!
Awesome job on your first long arm quilt!! I've done 1 quilt so far on my long arm. No rulers yet. You're brave!!

Fabulous job! Can't believe this is your first - did you practice at the store where you bought it???
Love those baptist fans. Do you mind telling us where you got the rulers? I'm a total LAQ beginner. Thanks.

very nice!!congra.on your machine enjoy!!!
It is a beautiful quilt and that good old Baptist Fan quilting pattern is perfect with it. I have several TATWs that are waiting for quilting and I am going to use this pattern on them. Thanks for showing it.
What LAM did you get and how do you like it? Your work looks experienced! peace EDIT: I understand that your quilt is a Bargello but I think the Baptist Fan would work well on my TATWs. |
you did a fine job
It's Beautiful Lucky You!! Enjoy your New Baby!!
Looks great and I give you loads of credit for doing ruler work on your very first LA adventure. First time I used rulers (templates) I found them awkward. Now I love using them but the first time was not fun and I have yet to do a whole quilt with nothing but ruler/template work. To do a whole quilt, first time out no less, using templates is very ambitious and you did a wonderful job. You certainly won't get trapped in the all over meander rut and I look forward to seeing what you do down the road.

lovely quilt.

Very nice - - thanks for sharing.

Stunning quilt and quilting!
WOW great first job, did you start and stop and cut thread at each curve, or was it a continous sew thru the whole fan..?
Fabulous! Love it! Kudos!
Wow, I am impressed! Beautiful quilt and quilting. Looking forward to seeing more of your lovely work.
