The glue is just fine to use; it will wash away when you wash the quilt where some other fusables will not. It is purely a personal choice, so you did nothing wrong... yet again :lol:

I personally find that heat and bond is too stiff, so I also use a fabric glue stick for this type of applique. The fact that it washes out is a plus.

I think it absoulty great looks fluffly and warm. Wonderful job. No way its a first quilt. You surpassed me by a long way

I use the lite heat n bond, but it is stiff... I need to look for that glue and give it a try. Barb C

I use the washable 50 cent glue sticks for kids works great

Awesome!!! You put me to shame, I have not tried something that intricate and you did first try. And it looks sooooooo good. :P
