I love your quilt! Love red and aqua.

I've done the cheap thin muslin also. Saved some of my Dh old handkerchiefs so I could use a hoop to piece on. It's a great to go little project. you can move it around on the hoop. Handkerchiefs are just the right size. Just get cheapies at dollar store (10 for $1). I do starch the handkerchiefs so they great for hand piecing.

I use muslin too on my string quilts, then you don't have to rip the paper off and makes it a little warmer quilt.
