Clever idea and they are both nice looking quilts!

Belfry -- I hated every minute of Provance after all the pieces were made and I started to assemble it. Been back from the long arm for 3 weeks now, just don't have the heart to finish it.

They look great!

This is so interesting..our guild just had our biennial quilt show in February and I had two of my quilts hanging in it......Titled "the Fraternal Twins". They were the same block and color but differed with the bindings, the borders and the backings.
After the show, a friend of mine had a set of twins join his family, Grace & Jacob, and I couldn't think of a better pair to enjoy these quilts.[ATTACH=CONFIG]571491[/ATTACH][ATTACH=CONFIG]571492[/ATTACH] Jacob received the blue border and Grace the red.

These both are great - simple, effective use of "standard" scraps. Going on my bucket list of scrappies to make! Thanks for the inspiration!
