I love your remark about the cloth I thing alot of sewers did that I can remember my mother had one. We can't do that now would cover up too many things you use for sewing.

Beautiful...and the idea of using a cloth on the machine as a pin holder - superb! I'll have to see if there's any way I can do something similar, as I toss pins around my house as if no one in my home has feet! the pin cushion is always where I'm not!

Yep, my mother had the wrap-around-pincushion, too.

What a wonderful treasure...I wish I would have had the opportunity to buy my grandmothers when they had their sale but wasn't financially able to do so. I don't know who ended up with it. She sewed all of the girls prom dresses but passed away before she was able to do my sisters and mine.
