What a treasure! I love the history behind these old machines. I bought a White treadle off of Craig's List and have no history with it...sad :cry: Enjoy your beautiful machine and all the memories that come with it.

Wow, what a beautiful machine and such a treasure. I can remember my mother having the same "pin cushion" on her treadle machine.

Brought back some memories. Thanks for sharing. Anne

Many old machines have cloth around them as in the pic - always handy, though they do scratch the machine, another thing often seen on old machines - (the scratches in that area I mean). :)
