Fabulous quilts, what fun to have someone right in your home to talk and quilt with. Lucky you.

hubby used to sew, many years ago (for his first wife and family) but i banned him from EVER touching my sewing machines again when i came home from work and found him sewing a repair into the canvas of our tent trailer. he bent the transmission of my poor machine, and these 35 years later, i still get irritated when i think about it. dang it--do those kinds or repairs with the needles made for it, and leave my "precision machinery" out of the equation!!!
i'd be afraid to ever introduce him to the joys of quilting--he might enjoy it, and i'd never see my stuff again... |
Very nice. Just think....you can both go and shop for fabric and not worry about hiding it somewhere he won't look. It's nice to have something in common. At least you will always have something to talk about.

OMG....wish my husband would take up quilting! John's quilts are beautiful! :-D

Wow, heck of a talented guy! Love his stuff!! Obviously, you taught him well!!!

I'm very happy for you. Your hubby will love it when you increase your stash - no complaints. He can listen to you and understand when you run an exciting idea by him. You are very lucky to share this great hobby with your hubby. And he is lucky that you have shared your knowledge. Enjoy!

The quilts are beautiful! The girls look so happy and proud of their quilts. This is wonderful for a man to quilt like this!
I am sure yours are beautiful also. |
Nice job.

I only wish my husband would show half that interest, you are very lucky to share the same passion. |
