Beautiful quilt, quilting adds too it perfectly.

WOW - I am impressed. Hoop Sisters' designs are really stitch intensive.....which tends to make the quilts a bit stiff..........This is really beautiful tho.........How many hours of embroidery work to complete this one?

Very lovely. I did one of theirs a few years ago and vowed never to do one again--lol. They do take time but the instructions were great and I did mine on my own. It is a wall hanging in my sewing room.

The instructions say that each of the 64 blocks takes about 40 minutes to embroider but I found that only one style of block could be done in that timeframe. Even when I got comfortable with the process it still took about 75 minutes for each block and there are 64 blocks. Then there's the sashing and binding. Suffice to say it took a long time.

This pattern did come with a file that could cut the applique shapes with a cutter, like Cricut, but I did them by hand - that added time.

Not being modest here, just honest in that the embroidery and quilting are all part of the program. I'd consider myself an advanced beginner in embroidery so this quilt really didn't require a special talent. It required patience and perseverance.
