I am sad to let this one go, I had alot of fun making attic windows with the beautiful panel.
It was made for a friend with terminal cancer, hopefully it makes her smile. ( i will miss it)
It is in the washer now and I am FREAKING out!!
It sure is agitating the crap out of it! I will hold my breath till its done! :D

BIG shoutout to sewnsewer2 for the awesome label!!
If you are labelely challenged like me she does great work!

I love your quilt. This is the first I have seen where it really looks like looking through a window. Well done!

Spring is in the air! Love the windows

klgreene 02-24-2011 12:35 PM

Very pretty. So fresh and springtime like. I just have one question. Are you left or right handed? I'm working on a quilt and like Moonwork42029, my windows go on the left side. I'm right handed. I was just curious if the pattern went that way, or like my DH is left handed.

That is beautiful.
How large is the quilt and how big was the panel? IS the panel just cut into squares and seperated or was the panel that large and you had to lose some of the panel to put inthe window panes.
Thank you and I am sure the reciepent will love it.

It ended up being 62X69 ish
It was a regular 24X44 panel
http://www.virginiaquilter.com/cgi-l...html?E+scstore
the panel was too small so
I used 2 panels and cut them into 61/2" squares,
you can kinda see on one of the bottom ones there is a trunk that doesnt line up with the large tree above it. oh well I needed the size so I didnt mind.
