My latest quilts
 

I made quilts for my twin nieces. I had a few questions and ya'll were nice enough to help. http://www.quiltingboard.com/main-f1...p-t241897.html and http://www.quiltingboard.com/picture...o-t241044.html Here is what I ended up coming up with.

and I wanted the same pattern for the other twin's quilt...but ended up with this:

Then I asked about an applique http://www.quiltingboard.com/main-f1...d-t246566.html and this is the quilt I used it on and what I ended up with.

Only the top heart covers the small fabric blemish...but adding just one seemed odd. So I added two more hearts to try to make it look like I did it on purpose.

They are very pretty. I like how you did the hearts.

Great quilts! I love the heart applique. When I was little if I got a stain or a little hole in a top (all my clothes were made by my mom) she would applique a flower or something over it to hide it. Works for me.

Each quilt has its own personality -- and I think the addition of the hearts is an artistic solution to a problem. It really fits the quilt.

OHHHH I love looking at all the lovely quilts, I am subvy getting my garden up and going, late getting things growing this year do to a longer winter, but I am just about ready to get back to quilting..Love your colors and design. Thanks for sharing.

Quilts are beautiful. I especially love the first one. What's the pattern for the blue one? That is lovely! I know the girls will love it. They probably have enough matching things that they will appreciate not having matching quilts and that you treat them like individuals. Lots of twins in my family, so just my opinion based on what they go through. Beautiful quilts.
