I like that alot! Looks like it would take a good while to get all those put together and then quilted!

You are to be commended for your work of art. Beautiful colors ... GREAT job!

I am looking for the directions to make a cathedral window block on the machine. the one I need is rectangular instead of square. I did it 10 yrs ago and can't remember how I did it. Any help???

What a beautiful quilt! I think you did GOOD!!
I can't stop looking at it, that quilt is breathtaking!!! What patience you have!
It's beautiful! I can see why it took time, but it sure looks worth it.
WOW!!! WOW!!!...I am speechless!!!! All that time you were creating an heirloom!!
It's very pretty! I have a quilt I've been "hand piecing" since 1998. I'm thinking about dragging it out and finally finishing it. I feel guilty for not finishing it when I'm working on something else. haha
Good for you, it's both lovely and sentimental
Tracy, your quilt is gorgeous ! Such dedication you do awesome work!
Lovely, lovely what a wonderful piece! I haven't ever seen a design using hexagons in the manner you did in your quilt. Did you design the pattern yourself? No matter how long it took you complete, you created an heirloom treasure. I really the the colors and my only wish would be for a bigger picture.
Thank you for posting your picture..... |
Absolutely beautiful!!! It took my breath away!
Persistence and patience. That is very pretty.
Great job! It's beautiful.
Beautiful! I enjoy English paper piecing but have never tried anything this complicated or large. You did a great job.
Wonderful quilt - lets hope the next one doesn't take quite as long!!
That is the most beautiful rendition of that pattern that I have ever seen!! Thanks for showing us!!
Your quilt is BEAUTIFUL! I just started EPP this last week and it's a blast! Thanks for posting your masterpiece :)
Something beautiful you can treasure for a long time more!
How beautiful is that !!!
Absolutely beautiful quilt-what a lot work.
Girl, that is gorgeous....and I am sure your friend would be willing to wait another 9 years for her to be completed. Lovely. Congratulations.
Faulous. The design of this GFG is quite different from any I've seen. Congratulations on the completion!
How did you bind?
How did you bind the grandmothers flower garden?
I'm afraid it would have taken me longer than that for a completely hand made quilt of that quality and beauty! Great job! (but do you plan on making just two quilts in your lifetime???? There are sewing machines out there, you know!)
It's beautiful - worth all the work!
That is amazing!
Your quilt is beautiful!! That must have been so satisfying to finish. Well done!
Beautiful quilt. EPP is a fun technique. Glad you finished.
I understand why this quilt took you so long. I've made a grandmother's flower garden using the English paper piecing method so yes, they take a long time. But your design is wonderful. Love it. Congrats on the finish!
Beautiful!!
Yes, I can see how it would take so long to make. It is very pretty. I have a cathedral window in progress and have working on it off and on for about 20 years. Someday I will finish it, maybe in twin size or throw size.
