Thanks for sharing these and the web site. They are delightful! A friend made them, but she wouldn't share the directions. Maybe she had a pattern that said copyrighted.

They are not difficult to make and keep in mind that each log cabin square is cut in half to make two santa faces. they were a real hit a guild meeting yesterday.

I tried translating the cm to inches. As close as I can tell it makes the center square about 2 1/2" and the strips 1" cut sizes, does this sound right? What size did you end up with before rolling them (when they look like pot holders)? Thanks. Jan

my finished square is 6.5" before sewing into a cone. i rarely follow a pattern exactly, but your2.5" seems right
