Beautiful design and needlework, but these scenarios are really macabre.

"Pay no attention to the comments from the stiffs that don't like them. They're so uptight you probably couldn't drive a needle up their butt with a sledge hammer."
OMG- I just spit coffee all over my tablet reading this! That is a new one on me, but one of the funniest things I've read in a while! |
OMG that is so funny....love it!!!!
|
these are just wrong !
|
Love them all! So funny

I am having so much fun reading all the replays that i don't have time to actually do my quilting! These are the funniest replies i have seen in a long time. it's great to see sooo many quilters with a great sense of humor. I'm 75 and i hope i never stop laughing!! i really would like to attempt to make some of these myself but i would definitely need pattersn!

Terrific! Very creative take on Sue. I dislike Sunbonnet Sue patterns, but I'm a lover of these! Well done.
|
I've gotta laff, cuz even tho my name is Sue, I do not like Sunbonnet Sue, LOL ... these are cute, tho a bit disturbing!
|
Glad you like them and yes, I agree that they are slightly macabre. All you newcomers to the thread, did you know there was part 2?

OMG, give it a rest! You knew the name of it when you clicked on it! There is an old saying, ”If there is anything bad in the world the preacher will find it first.” I have found this to be true. You go girl! |
OMG, I never saw these before. You are very talented.
|
I love these. will need to go back and read all, just got home last night and have no time now. need to go to work again.
|
Your work is beautiful and your sense of humor is wicked. Thanks for the morning giggles.
I really want to see your completed project. |
Absolutely stunning, the hitchcock one freaked me a bit (I'm scared of birds) but I love your theme, SBS seems so goody goody and annoying and this is just brilliant
|
Just as I finished reading all the 'new'-to-me posts, it occurred to me...."Sticks and Stones Break (Mad)Sue's Bones" should be one.....all the "sticks" and "stones," of course, taken from this thread. :D :D :D

these brought me a few laughs. I missed the Soudini and Squeezy labels the first time through.

I dont know which was more entertaining - the negative commenters and the ones sticking up for you MQ or the blocks.. hahha love it..
|
I remember reading this thread when you first began it. Even now as I re-read, I admire your talent at making things look so real. Thanks for sharing it with us.
