I am impressed that your quilt is hand pieced and quilted. My first quilt class was in hand piecing & I've recently considered going back to it.

Matisse practiced doves a lot. When finished with one, he'd say, "There's another dove for peace." Very nice quilt!

This was my first attempt at applique. Everything is hand done. Hand pieced, hand embroidered, hand appliqued, hand batiked, and hand quilted. I gave it to my 82-year-old mother, who can't sew a stitch. I think she likes it.
