Great job-- now to decide what pattern and what material: maybe start with whats in tote bins, then you won't have to disturb whats organized!!

Looks like my LQS. Can I come over and pull out a few hundred fabrics for a scrap quilt? I'd never leave that room.

Now that is a stash!!!!

Are those full bolts of fabric or is it just a couple of yards? I always wonder when I see that.
Good work.

can i come shopping?
What did you use to wrap your smaller pieces around? I can see empty bolt cardboards for the larger pieces. This is very inspiring!! Awesome!
Very nice, looks like a small fabric shop! :)
Alaskasunshine did a great tutorial on organizing fabric and I just followed her lead. My boards came from home depot and I had them shipped to my home. All my fabric is two yards or more on the plastic. The larger bolts are five yards or six in some cases for backings. here is a link for the plastic at home depot. http://www.homedepot.com/webapp/wcs/...atalogId=10053

Looks great and I'm jealous, my sewing area isn't anywhere near this organized! What size cuts do you tend to buy? I love the bolts/mini bolts idea but I buy a lot of half yard and fat quarter cuts. Would this system still work for me?
Wow, you did an amzing job!
I wish you'd come to my house!!!! |
omg Nice job organizing
