My "Stash-scrappy"
 

I finished piecing this today- it looks like a scrappy, and sort-of is; I used a combination of scraps and FQ's from my stash. Tomorrow I start FMQ! I love it- I think it's a happy quilt!

I just copied it from a magazine. The center squares are 4 1/2", and the frame strips are 2 1/2", and the corners are 2 1/2".

I love the colors and the pattern you chose. It is going to be such a pretty quilt.

Don't you just love that block? It is the one I used for the first quilt I made in recent years (and first one I did completely by hand and all by myself).

I do love it- very fast and easy to cut, and fast and easy to piece. I would never have thought to put it together with no sashing but I saw it done that way in a magazine, and really liked it.

Great way to use up scraps, I love the old fashioned look to it.
