This quilt is from Paragon Needlecraft No. 01171 American Sampler Quilt it came in two combinations blue/green like this one I made.

And the Brown/gold/green combo which you bought.

I hope you can document the quilter and some information like when and where it was quilted. It needs a label with its history as a tribute to the quilt artist's lovely workmanship.

Sorry. I posted and then started reading the posts from the back toward the first posts.

Thank you, jcon. My quilt is the same colors as your quilt -- blue/green.

How many hours did it take you to make yours? Any idea?

It's beautiful, a treasure. I never understand why family will let an heirloom like this go. I would love to have an entire finished quilt my grandmother made, all I have are pieces of one.

RedGarnet222, my Aunt did the actual cross stitching during a two-week time while on vacation. She had Amish families living near her and they did the hand quilting. Hope this provides some information for you.

Incredible treasure! You know, there was a lot of love stitched into this quilt.

I hope you will be able to find out the name of the lady who made it. She would be so pleased to know that it is now owned by someone who appreciates and loves it. How sad that the relatives didn't honor all her beautiful work
