Well, I recognize Texas A & M. My brother is a grad ~ 1955 I think.

you did an amazing job in record time i'm truly floored by its beauty. and here's a link to a DJ that took 2nd place in houston this year http://s261.photobucket.com/albums/i...view=slideshow Klue - long time no hear! After studying the Houston 2nd Place Dear Jane, I can only say, 'What could have possibly taken First Place?" here's the link http://susanintexas.blogspot.com/201...beat-dear.html |
Klue, I would love to see your progress on your indigo Jane quilt. Indigo is one of my favorite colors in a quilt, so calming.
I wouldn't mind if you PM'd me. |
i'll put up a separate thread because a bunch of people have been PMing me asking what i've been working on.
i'll put the thread up in the photo section, i'll post a link to the jane blocks and then pics of all the other quilts i've made while working on jane. |
I like the girl in the bathtub. Really cute. :-) How big is each block?
|
Marymild the "lady" in the bathtub is me! Kinda hard to shampoo with the cowgirl hat on so it stays by the backdoor most of the time. Each of the blocks in the "Jane" quilts are normally 4 1/2" finished. Mine are, too. I wanted the extra size so I added the outer set of triangles. It looks good on my King bed. Now for the small matter of quilting it!

BEAUTIFUL!!!!

Very lovely - well done!

Your quilts are so beautiful (I can't even fathom how you did the cathedral window blocks) and the fact that you did your Texas Jane in five months blows me away! I think your theme song must be "rock around the clock"! You have inspired me to get back to my Jane I started with Klue and her group. Thank you. Hugs

I like my baths, too. Have to get a cowboy hat! You did a great job on the quilt. Much work.
