Good for you! You did great. As you said, I'm sure she would be happy that it was going to a quilter. I've picked up a few remnants at some sales, but never found much. We are all jealous.

The seventies fabric? Well, It is fun and cheerful. I made many a skirt out of these back then. LOL! As a matter of fact, I still have the scraps left over upstairs in a box. LMBO ...

Lucky you! Very nice fabrics.... My best garage sale find was a Featherweight several years ago...again a quilter had passed away..........

ahhhhhhhhhhhh! I am missing out on all the bargains. A featherweight! Gonna have to do better on this end! For sure, but I am happy for all the finds! :-o
