I think black would frame it nicely.

Dark blue I usually just put a piece of fabric underneath the quilt top with the width of the binding showing to audition it. Audition a few. it is fun

Red or Green

Use something close to the original binding..worked the first time....

Try doing prairie points of all the different colors!!!!

Nice quilt. I would do a black binding. Would make it more dramatic.

I think a dark color, grey or black would be good.

Red seems right to me.

I love the old polyester quilts. They are very heavy and warm, and they'll never wear out.
