This quilt is made with 100% polyester (double knit), my aunt, now deceased, made it and I just got it from a family member. What color binding would you suggest?

I'd leave it as is.

..... And if my eyes are playing games on me, I'd probably use a black binding, as I'm sure you don't have any of the same fabric available now.
